From their standpoint they are just looking to make money. I give HP credit though as having one of the best cartridge recycling programs compared to all other OEM companies out there. As for quality, everything around us has went down, customer service, product warranties, and product quality. making a quality product does not mean what it used to.

I can't believe how consumers are being gouged by HP. I was in a local staples and they have toner cartriges costing nearly 200.00. Are they nuts!!! They say they have a recycling program but they're full of sh#$t. The pricing strategy they have is forcing people to ditch the printers they buy when the toners run out and buy new printers with new cartriges. Somebody at head office on in a vp position is off their rocker. It's happened many times before that companies were out of touch with consumers...this is one of those times. HP will find out too late that people are fed up with their crap. STOP filling our landfills with old toners and printers. Build a quality printer and reasonably priced toners. Damn.
